The curriculum is aligned to Te Whāriki, the early childhood curriculum and is informed by assessment, planning and evaluation that demonstrates an understanding of children’s learning and development. The service is responsive to children as confident and competent learners. The premises have been altered to better suit effective supervision and support the provision of different types of indoor and outdoor experiences. The operational framework has review and evaluation systems in place for policies, processes and procedures. An increased level of monitoring of health and safety practices is required.
