Lollipops Blighs Road has four separate rooms, enabling us to deliver safe, nurturing and age appropriate learning experiences for all our children.

Tui Room

The Tui Room caters for our children up to the age of 18 months.  It is a beautiful, calm area where our youngest children can develop at their own pace. We provide lots of opportunities to explore and grow in a safe, clean, homely space – and there’s a spacious playground with real grass!

Kakapo Room

Designed for our 1 to 2.5 year olds, the Kakapo Room is a spacious area with lots of learning opportunities, including stairs to a loft area. We have a covered deck leading to a large outdoor area with blossom trees, a vegetable garden and a strawberry patch.  Plus, we’ve got a pet fish

Kiwi Room

This is home away from home for our 2.5 to 4 year olds. The Kiwi Room features a large playground with a vegetable garden, a pet rabbit and pet turtle.  There’s a strong focus on learning through play with lots of sensory and exploratory play opportunities.

Pukeko Room

The Pukeko Room is set up for our 3.5 to 6 year olds and highlights include a large playground with loads of equipment to inspire and challenge the children. There’s also blossom trees, a vegetable garden and a worm farm. Our young adventurers also enjoy our weekly forest excursions!

What sort of food will my child be eating?

Our children love meal times thanks to our awesome in-house cook who creates healthy, delicious meals on a daily basis. We like to eat ‘family style’ so that the children learn to eat at a table and can perfect their table manners. Our menu runs on a monthly cycle - lunches are a cooked hot meal of red meat, fish, chicken or vegetarian with rice, pasta or potatoes. Morning and afternoon teas include pikelets, toast or crackers, scones, cheese roll ups, yoghurt, custard, and are always served with a generous helping of fruit.  Our centre has the Healthy Heart Gold Award, so you know your child will be getting nutritious, balanced meals and snacks every day.

So relaxed and friendly. Clean environment. I had a really good gut feeling when I walked in. Cooper is very settled.

Leaving a child in a preschool/nursery is never easy, no matter how many times you have done it.  Leaving one when you have no family around is even harder. You guys have made that easier and I can’t thank you enough for the love, care and attention you have given to Robyn.  Thank you for helping me to help Robyn grow.

Sarah Herod

After visiting several centres, Lollipops Blighs Road stood out as the best centre for my daughter. I love the small classrooms, the amazing meals and the great playground!

The staff are all really friendly and my daughter loves coming to Lollipops each day.

Evolve’s innovative and well thought out curriculum areas are carefully designed to engage, inspire and unlock your little one’s unique potential. Rich in learning opportunities, and crafted around children’s specific interests, our age-appropriate programmes encourage a love of learning that will set children up for life.

Our ECE curriculum sets goals and plans for children to acquire skills and knowledge through experiences and opportunities. This provides the curriculum foundation necessary for high quality care and addresses the individual needs of each child. Having daily routines, providing self-help and life-skill development are part of a child’s day. Children are always learning, and it is important to recognise that the programme provides learning experiences for all development domains.

Our focus areas are:
